The whole mortgage process can be pretty personal and is a big step for most people. While I realize earning trust and respect is going to take more than a short biography, I still want to share some things about myself so you can learn a little about who you'll be working with.
After moving to San Luis Obispo from the Bay Area to go to college, I decided SLO was the place I needed to live. No traffic, beautiful weather, amazing scenery, nice people, and let's not forget Thursday night farmers market.
While attending Cal Poly-SLO I worked at a local Mortgage Company. After I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism (Sport and Event Planning), I obtained my Real Estate and Notary License. I've been working in the Mortgage and Real Estate industry since 2006. As you all know, it has been a roller coaster. I also worked part time at SLO Parks and Recreation as their Adult Sports Coordinator, which was a fun experience. I also went back to school and will have my Master's Degree in June of 2012. I stood my ground as one of the "good guys" in the mortgage industry and have always offered honest, quality services. I now work full time with Acquire Mortgage and Real Estate in San Luis Obispo.
In 2008 I came across a great local non-profit, the Young Professional Networking Group (www.ypng.org). I joined in hopes to make some good local business networking opportunities and I found much more. It is a group that gives its members the opportunity to give back to the community and to meet some amazing people. I liked it so much I joined the Board of Directors and I'm proud to say I am the current President. A passion of mine is planning events, so I am able to put my Bachelor's Degree to use through YPNG. In ending, Dedication, Respect, Punctuality, Organization, and Honesty are all important words/characteristics for me.
